I wanted to look directly
at the reality that I had to face.

I have worked to show how to live, how to
do physical labor, and how to work as
an artist in relation to objects.

I hoped that viewers would come up with
different interpretations of my perception of
reality by seeing on the canvas objects that are
related to my everyday life or someone else’s life.

The title of the serial work that I started working
on recently is “A Human of Sense”.
I act sensibly to live as someone’s child, a contract
worker, someone’s junior or senior, and a customer.

I decided that it is worth working on “sense”
because it reflects Korea’s social system and atmosphere.
