나는 잔해들의 세상을 그린다.
<부스러기로 만든 몸>은 중앙에서 밀려난 잔해들의
이미지를 탁본하고,
각각을 블록의 조각처럼 쌓아올린 작업이다.
흔적 하나 하나가 뭉쳐지면서 본래와는 다른
새로운 몸체가 생겨나고
잔해들의 임시적인 도착지가 되어준다.
I paint a world of fragments. A Body Made of
Fragments uses rubbings of images of debris
pushed away from the center, and each of them
becomes a block, creating a form.
As each trace comes together, it becomes a body
different from the original; a new body is created,
a temporary destination for the debris.
