매일 마주하는 주변 풍경을 소재로 그림을 그리고 기록하는 형식으로 작업을
하고 있다. 누군가를 묻고 돌아오던 산속에서 한 나무에 같이 모여 있는
까마귀와 까치를 보았다. 사람의 영역에서 까마귀와 까치는 서로 반대되는
의미를 지니지만 그 또한 한 나무 안에서 함께 하는 것 같다. 그것이 무엇이든
함께 존재하는 현재에 대한 이야기를 하고 싶었다.
I work in a format that involves painting and documenting the
surrounding landscapes I encounter every day. While returning from
a mountain after laying someone to rest, I saw a crow and a magpie
gathered on the same tree. In human society, crows and magpies
have opposing meanings, yet they coexisted within that single
tree. No matter what that is, I wanted to tell a story of the present
wherewe exist together.
