자신보다 성숙해지려는, 보이지 않는 분투를 찾는 과정이다. 한지 위에
살을 그리며 붓으로 살결을 지나치듯 자극하는, 지독히도 개인적인 작품의
내면과 마주하는 방법이다.
The work of creating and painting flesh is a search for unseen
struggles, an effort to overcome the sense of crisis and being left
behind and grow beyond one’s past self. Drawing flesh on hanji,
brushing over its surface as if tracing the texture of skin,
becomes a deeply personal act, a way of confronting the
inner aspect of the work.
